Weeks Adult Ceramic Classes

“In a two years period, I’ve gone from taking a beginner class with zero experience to selling my first collection of ceramics at a holiday craft fair in Soho” – Signe Y.

8 Weeks Ceramic Classes: July 7 – August 31

Summer session will run from Sunday July 9 – Saturday September 2. Same price and schedule as below.

Classes in all levels of wheel throwing, hand building, decorating, sculpture, glazing, tile/mosaic are offered in our fully equipped studio. The classes are kept small to allow for individualized attention and study within the group setting. Learn to create pieces using either handbuilding, throwing or a combination of both that can be used for either functional or sculptural work. Surface decoration techniques demonstrated will include applied texture, colored slips and glaze application. You are encouraged to let your instructor know of any project you may have in mind and it will be used to feed the class demonstrations.
