CLASS INFO:
This ceramic program is specially geared towards fun and artistic discovery. In our friendly & relaxed environment, your child will gain knowledge & confidence in the arts, while learning creative thinking. Children will gain the experience of working in a professional pottery studio and will learn to use the potters wheel as well as hand building/sculpting techniques. Multiple surface decoration approaches will be demonstrated and applied. No prior experience is required.
More challenging work will be assigned to students with prior experience.
Parents must email this Registration Form upon child’s registration in the class, to insure their child’s participation in the program. Kids will not be allowed to attend After School Ceramic Classes, if we have not received this form, so please do not delay!!

If you’re booking for two or more kids, you will need to place each order individually.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR CLASS
Students will be required to bring their own individual tool kit and apron to each class.
Tools and aprons purchased will be held at the front desk on the fist day of class.
Aprons, and tool supplies can be bought here.
SCHOOL PICK UP OPTION
Available from PS 84 or Brooklyn Arbor and any other local school with at least 3 students who need pick up
Wednesday: $208
Thursday/Friday: $192 (no pick on Th 11/05 and Fri 11/20 , but afterschool is on)
EXTENDED DAY OPTION
Until 5:30 PM
Cost: Wednesday, Thursday or Friday: $234

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation must be provided in writing within 10 days prior to the first class of the session. Refunds requested within 1 week of the first class are 50% refundable. There are no refunds after the session begins.
In the event CDC guidelines change before or during the course of the after school session and a state wide shutdown occurs, Choplet studio will transition to online instruction. Due to the impact of Covid-19 on small businesses, we will be unable to provide refunds or credits for future classes, even though online classes may not provide the same instruction than in person instruction. Please make sure you only register your child, if you are comfortable with this policy.
Make-ups: No make up possible, no refund for missed classes.
Tools: Pottery tool kit is required and can be purchased for $15 at registration or on the first class.
Note: Classes are subject to change or cancellation if they do not fill sufficiently.
