CLASS INFO:
Clay Camp but for teens and adults! This semi-private pottery program (maximum 8 students) is designed for anyone who wants to quickly learn or strengthen their skills on the potter’s wheel in a supportive, hands-on environment.
With small class sizes and focused instruction, this program offers a fun and rewarding way to dive into wheel throwing, whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills.
Evening wheel throwing Intensive will meet twice a week for 2 weeks
Day time Wheel Throwing Intensive will meet 4 times in one week or twice a week for 2 weeks.
To complete the experience, students return for a 3-hour glazing workshop where you will glaze your finished pieces and watch your creations come to life.

15lbs of house stoneware clay
8 Hours of bench time between the first and last wheel throwing class
Firing: 4 cents per cubic inch
Specialty clay bodies are available for sale here.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR CLASS
Participants should bring their own individual tool kit, apron and towel to each class.
Tools, recycling containers and aprons can be purchased here and will be held at the front desk on the fist day of class.
**For evening classes during the winter, we suggest you wear a hat and a sweater when the weather is cold.

EVENING WHEEL THROWING INTENSIVE SCHEDULE

In Williamsburg: The Wheel throwing classes will take place in our outdoor and enclosed heated studio. In Greenpoint: The class will take indoor.
Evening wheel intensive workshops meet twice a week for two weeks. An additional 3 hour glazing session will be provided, to allow students to glaze their creations.

Cancellation and Make Up Policy: 50% will be refunded for cancellation made in writing one week prior the start of the Semi-Private Intensive session. No refund or credit will be available after that.Tools: Pottery tool kit is required and can be purchased at registration or on the first day of class.
