A pliable clay with smooth grog. Great for sculpture (use a high gloss glaze when making dinnerware). Color comes from manganese and iron. Fires almost black when in oxidation. It is not recommended to fire this clay in reduction. Available for PICK UP at Choplet Ceramics Studio & Gallery 238 Grand St. during our regular operating hours until 7pm.

Clay is sold in a 25lbs bag. Must be picked up no later than 48 hours after purchase. Choplet Studio does not have the capacity to store sold clay past 48 hours.
