Williamsburg Ceramic Center

Williamsburg Ceramic Center is an 1800 square foot studio located on the ground floor of N9 street, 2 blocks away from Bedford avenue will provide ceramic artists with 24 hours access /7 days a week.

The ceramic studio is currently equipped with 8 electric wheels, 3 large Hand Building tables, a slab roller, an extruder, a state of the art spray booth room, one 10 cubic feet, one 7 cubic feet, one oval 16 cubic feet, and two 2.6 cubic feet electric kilns. There is a dedicated mold making and slip casting area as well as a prototyping plaster lather wheel.

There is access to an outdoor space members can relax in.

3 levels of subscription are available:

1 – The Collective Studio Potter (CSP)

CSP members will enjoy 24 hour access and be able to use all the ceramic studio facilities. They get a full 1.5’x 3′ shelving unit composed of 5 shelves to store their work. The monthly fee is $220.

2 – The Individual Station Table (IST)

IST members will also have 24 hours access to the collective equipment as well as their own individual table and shelving area. IST membership is a perfect solution for clay artists and designers who work on the same project for several days and for whom putting their work away at the end of their workday is not convenient.

7 Individual station tables are available.
Pricing ranges from $260 – $450. Tables have storage under and adjustable shelving above the table up to 9′ high. The $450 IST has a large metal shelving unit for storage.

3 – The Private Studio Space (PSP)

Williamsburg Ceramic Center also offers two 8’x 10′ private studio space with a window facing the garden for $600/month.

Additional shelving units located in the basement of the studio can be rented by CSP and IST members for $55/month.
